From her bold Peruvian-inspired branding to the irresistible beats of her playlists, Locamotion is more than a roller-skating class—it’s an experience that blends culture, music, and movement in a way that’s truly one-of-a-kind.
The project started with one prompt: A name (Maruki), a product (red wine) and a color (#AC7539). Without any more information or guidance from the “brand owner”, I had to design a logo using at least the color and 2 or 3 more.
The idea was to re-design the whole interface of the mobile and desktop sites. Modify the brand colors to match the brand’s personality and tone, create a better navigation experience for users and improve content.
I wanted to put together three of the things that I enjoy the most (the ocean, roller skating and photography) and create a final image with a magical realism.
